Recruiting Company Becomes a Data-Driven Organization

Background:

Our client, an HR recruiting firm, desired to become a data-driven organization. They began by investing in new systems, processes, and software to capture and visualize their data. Internal efforts to utilize Power BI proved difficult, so they considered hiring a data analyst. We connected and developed a plan to realize their vision without new hires.

Goals & Hurdles: 

Recruiting in manufacturing and retail segments is especially challenging due to nationwide labor shortages. Labor shortages caused customer hiring demand to exceed the number of available applicants. Therefore, we determined we would have the most significant impact by improving execution efficiency. Solution:

We presented three vendors that all had different strengths. The chosen vendor met all of the above goals while also providing the on-demand services we needed. Their tool included natural language processing capabilities for searching all of your data with simple google search-like features. It also has machine learning built into the dashboard to dig into the “why” behind the results. Finally, the dashboards have a live sharing option to share real-time data visualizations with customers. These features were perfect for their needs.

Results:

We will provide more updates as the project progresses, but we have quickly realized the following results:
